Stop 1 – The Royal Mint Experience gives you a unique look behind the scenes at Britain’s oldest manufacturing organisation, where all of the UK’s coins are minted. You can even mint your own coin.
Stop 2 – Welsh Mining Experience at Rhondda Heritage Park - don your safety helmet, ride‘the cage’ to ‘pit bottom’ where you will ‘live the experience’ of life as a miner. You’ll hear from your guide about the hazards and difficulties the men(and boys) endured as part of their daily work.
Stop 3 – Dare Valley Country Park is over 500 acres of walks, trails and views across the Cynon Valley.
Stop 4 – Penderyn Distillery is where you can discover the secrets of how Wales’ only whisky is produced. Take a tour of the production area before sampling some of the finished product in the bar.
Stop 5 – Finally, it’s time to relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Ty Newydd Country House Hotel. How about a luxurious Afternoon Tea.
