Experience one of the region's most colourful summer attractions at Forage's Pick Your Own Flowers event. Working in partnership with serial RHS Gold Medal winner Rob Evans of Pheasant Acre Plants, visitors can explore a stunning flower field filled with thousands of beautiful blooms and create their own hand-picked bouquets to take home. This year's display features spectacular dahlias, which will flower throughout the entire season, alongside vibrant sunflowers and elegant gladioli during the earlier flowering period.
The flower field opens from 1st August and will be open daily from 10am to 5pm, before continuing on weekends throughout September until 27th September. With sweeping floral displays and colourful blooms at every turn, there will be photo opportunities galore for photographers, families and social media enthusiasts alike.
Alongside the main flower-picking experience, a programme of special events will run throughout the season. Younger visitors can enjoy bug hunts on selected dates, while gardening enthusiasts can join exclusive Discovering Dahlias tours led by Rob Evans himself, offering a fascinating insight into growing, selecting and caring for these spectacular flowers.
