Christmas 2025 November/December at Bute Park and Arboretum

Christmas at Bute Park returns to Cardiff for 2025, running from 21st November to 31st December.

This award-winning after-dark light trail transforms the park’s historic grounds into a festive wonderland filled with dazzling new illuminations, immersive installations, and seasonal sounds.
Visitors can explore highlights like the shimmering Water Willow and the icy spectacle Icefall, before warming up with food and drink from the Christmas Village and Bute Park Tavern.

Located just behind Cardiff Castle, the fully accessible trail is perfect for families, couples, and groups. Early booking is recommended.
