Description

Llandegfedd Lake is just 20 miles from the Welsh capital of Cardiff and spans the beautiful, rolling landscaped countryside of Monmouthshire and Torfaen. This stunning visitor attraction is owned and cared for by Welsh Water for your enjoyment. With over 400 acres of water, woodlands & grasslands to explore, you can experience every type of benefit that being close to water has to offer.

Designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to its richness in wildlife and large numbers of over-wintering wildfowl. Llandegfedd is one of the major sites for birds in Wales with over 240 species recorded. Gulls, breeding birds and passage migrants can be seen during spring and autumn.

Our Visitor Centre is fully accessible and disabled parking spaces can be found just outside.

All tastes are catered for with vegan and gluten free options. If you fancy a treat why not book in advance for a leisurely Afternoon Tea?
