Blaenavon Heritage Railway

The heritage railway is located within the Blaenavon World Heritage Site on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. An hour long round trip journey on steam and diesel trains operate between 4 stations.

Description

Heritage Railway running through the UNESCO World Heritage site at Blaenavon, Torfaen, South Wales.

Steam and Heritage Diesel services operate every Saturday and Sunday between April and October plus bank holidays and Wednesdays during the school summer holidays. Also special events like Ghost Trains and Santa Specials.
There is ample free parking for coach and car users of the railway on site.
