Description
Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer is an activity centre based in the south of the Brecon Beacons, just a 15-minute drive from Merthyr Tydfil. The centre offers a fantastic range of activities such as sailing, hiking and gorge adventures with options available for all ages and abilities.
The scenic surroundings really need to be seen first-hand to be believed with stunning views over the lake, river and rolling hills which can be viewed from the site. We have multiple accommodation options to suit every style including Dolygaer Lodge, Chalet and Cottage, which offers guests a luxurious way to unwind after a day's activities. If you prefer to camp, our site, set amongst the trees offers a perfect location to sleep under the stars!
Camping
Situated next to the river, the campsite is set among surrounding trees and hills and offers a scenic location to pitch up a tent and enjoy sleeping under the stars! A toilet and shower block is available for campers to use throughout their stay. Caravans and other vehicles are not able to access the campsite due its location, however it is only a short distance from the car park.
