Hensol Castle Distillery - opening on 4 September

The combination of Hensol Castle, which is steeped in history, together with the modern vibes and fun nature of gin creates a truly distinctive experience, in the cellars of our castle, especially with the odd tipple or two included! 

The 90 minute gin tour experience includes a chance to learn all about the history of Hensol Castle, the origins of gin, the wonders of botanicals and the distilling process, plus a tutored gin tasting and G&T in our bar to finish off.

Our gin making experience is perfect for any gin lover. You’ll spend two and a half hours with our master distiller, providing you with the chance to distil your own unique bottle of the delicious spirit. So whether you come on your own or with friends you can be assured to be with others who love their gin too.  Check the website for details of all the experiences available.

By Car - from Junction 34 of the M4

Take the exit signposted for Pendoylan and Hensol.

Take 1st right following signs for Pendoylan, Hensol and Vale Resort.

Take 1st right, signposted Hensol, Miskin and Vale Resort.

Carry on around the bend, pass the ambulance centre and houses then take a left turn and go straight on to Hensol Castle where free parking is available.
