Roseland B&B Tredegar is refurbished georgian gentlemans' residence set in its own secluded grounds 5 minutes by car from the A465 heads of valley road.
All rooms have their own TV, WI-FI and tea and coffee making facilities.
Babies free. £20 extra for third person in double/twin rooms.

The house is ideally situated for those who wish to enjoy the rich industrial heritage of the area, Big Pit Mining museum and Cae White are at Blaenafon (7 miles), Cyfartha Castle and Joseph Parrys house at Merthyr Tydfil (8 miles), there are 18th century ironworks in the Clydach gorge(5 miles)

We are close to good walking in the Beacons and the Black mountains and you can walk on to the hill within ten minutes from the house heading towards Trefil(Chartist cave nearby on moor) and the Duffryn Crawnon valley leading to LLangynidr, Taly-bont reservoir etc
The area is becoming increasingly popular for its excellent biking trails and we have lockable outhouses in which to store your bikes.

There are some excellent restaurants within easy driving distance, the Hardwick, the Walnut Tree and the lovely Bear pub in Crickhowell.

Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, Hay on Wye and Brecon (renowned for its jazz fest )are all between half an hour to an hour ten minutes journey away
Raglan, Skenfrith, Caerphilly, Chepstow, White Castle and many more castles are within 30 miles or so of us.LLangorse Lake, pony trekking and the indoor climbing centres at LLangorse and Taff Merthyr Colliery(welsh international climbing centre) are all close by.

Fishing is popular in the area and day permits are available
Hang gliders can be seen launching themselves off nearby hills, one of the favourite spots being off the Coity overlooking the Blorenge.
