From 12–18 October 2026, the Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, welcoming filmmakers and audiences from around the world to Wales for a week of films, conversations, celebrations, and unforgettable moments.
Discover award-winning LGBTQ+ cinema, meet the filmmakers behind the stories, ask questions at live Q&As, and celebrate alongside visitors from across the UK and beyond. From red-carpet screenings and industry events to parties and numerous awards including the world's largest short film prize, the Iris Prize, the festival offers a unique opportunity to experience world-class storytelling while enjoying the culture, creativity, and warm welcome of Cardiff charm.
