Ty Hafan Dark Run October

The Ty Hafan Dark Run at Bute Park is a fun, family-friendly Halloween-themed event taking place on Saturday, 18th October 2025 in Cardiff’s historic Bute Park. The event features a 2.5 km glow-in-the-dark route through beautifully lit parkland, past landmarks like the Gorsedd Stone Circle and the River Taff, with live entertainment, spooky surprises, and a lively atmosphere throughout. Registration opens at 5:45 PM, with the run starting around 6:30 PM. Participants can choose between fundraising and non-fundraising ticket options, with prices ranging from £5 to £20, and under-3s going free. All entrants receive a glowstick, a glow-in-the-dark medal, and access to a fully marshalled, well-organized route. Fancy dress is encouraged, with prizes for the best costumes, and everyone must bring a headtorch for safety. Families, children, and even dogs on leads are welcome, and food and drink will be available on-site. The event raises money for Ty Hafan, a children’s hospice, making it a meaningful way to enjoy the Halloween season while supporting a great cause. 18 October 2025
