The picturesque town of Usk will once again burst into colour as the much-loved Usk Open Gardens returns on 27–28 June 2026. Celebrated as the “Town of Flowers,” Usk invites visitors to explore a collection of beautifully maintained private gardens, many of which are rarely open to the public.
A Rare Glimpse Behind Garden Gates
Across the weekend, around 10–20 private gardens will open their gates, showcasing everything from compact cottage plots to expansive landscaped spaces filled with vibrant planting.
Visitors can wander at their own pace using a garden map, discovering hidden gems tucked throughout the historic town.
More Than Just Gardens
Beyond the floral displays, the event offers a full day out. A gardeners’ market will feature a range of plants for sale, while local groups provide refreshments including homemade cakes and teas.
Picnic spots along the River Usk and the town’s cafés and pubs add to the relaxed, community atmosphere.
