Spirit of Wales offers tours, gin or rum making experiences and tasting evenings at out Newport Distillery.

With its rich history, Newport is a unique city. On the mouth of River Usk, once the largest exporter of coal in Wales. Newport has attracted people for centuries. Our spirits pay homage to Newport’s history, rainy days and green hills, Celtic heritage, language, and literature. The Spirit of Wales is about the Welsh. It is about you, your family, and our people passed.
Visit us for a tour of our Newport Distillery and take in the industrial history that inspired our spirits, tours run Tuesday to Saturday and last approximately an hour. Sample our cocktails at our Friday night tasting evenings, taking place on the second Friday of every month at 7pm. Try your hand at making your own gin or rum with our experienced experts, you can make your own gin or rum Tuesday to Saturday and bookings for our experiences can be made on our website.
