Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer is an activity centre based in the south of the Brecon Beacons, just a 15 minute drive from Merthyr Tydfil. The centre offers a fantastic range of activities such as sailing, hiking and gorge adventures with options available for all ages and abilities.

The scenic surroundings really need to be seen first-hand to be believed with stunning views over the lake, river and rolling hills which can be viewed from the site. We have multiple accommodation options to suit every style including Dolygaer Lodge, Chalet and Cottage, which offers guests a luxurious way to unwind after a day's activities. If you prefer to camp, our site, set amongst the trees offers a perfect location to sleep under the stars!

The Chalet

The Chalet is the latest edition to Dolygaer and provides high quality accommodation for up to 26 visitors while on site. This newly converted building also has two rooms that are fully accessible to disabled guests with features such as a large wet room, helping the Chalet to comply with all Disability Discrimination Act requirements.

• All rooms are en suite with combo of twin/bunk beds or king sized options.
• Lounge area and communal kitchen providing option for self-catering or catering from the main Lodge.

The whole chalet can be hired as a complex on its own or each room can be let individually. - Great destination for families, corporate groups or parties.
