Cwlwm Celtaidd - Celtic Festival of Wales

05 - 07 March 2010

Location: Porthcawl The Grand Pavilion

Address : Porthcawl

An annual Festival of Celtic Music, Song & Dance, ideal for families, involving hundreds of artists from the Celtic countries of Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man and, of course, Wales. The festival features the colourful Parade Of The Celts, on Saturday 6th, through the town centre. A weekend of non-stop concerts, dances, workshops, legendary sessions, craft fair and town centre parade, in Porthcawl, Bridgend County Borough, on South Wales’ beautiful Glamorgan Heritage Coast with beaches, coastal paths & dunes, to funfairs, golf clubs & outdoor pursuit centres. With 2 stages in The Grand Pavilion on the seafront, the festival is almost entirely “inside” and close to all the amenities associated with Porthcawl, one of Wales’ premier seaside resorts.
