Celebrations

Cwlwm CeltaiddWales is proud of its Celtic traditions and each March the town of Porthcawl celebrates its Celtic routes by hosting the Cwlwm Celtaidd – the Celtic Music Festival. Musicians, singers and dancers from all over the Celtic world descend on the seaside town for a colourful weekend of parades and entertainment. The festival is the largest of its kind in Wales and should not be missed.

One of the regular Welsh bands at the festival is Mabon. Listen to some of their original Welsh and Celtic music here
