Cardiff, Wales' vibrant capital

The Welsh are a race who know how to enjoy themselves! Cardiff is packed full of cheerful and welcoming pubs and no visit would be complete without having sampled a pint of the city's very own beer, Brains SA. For those who want to keep going 'til dawn, Cardiff can oblige with a vibrant club scene ranging from rave to drag.

Cardiff Bay

As befits a capital city, Cardiff has everything a shopper could dream of. Large glossy department stores and all the major chains alternate with chic little fashion outlets and craft shops. Much of the compact centre is pedestrianised with seating areas and some lively street entertainment. The main streets are connected by a plethora of glass-canopied Victorian and Edwardian shopping arcades, which make shopping in Cardiff a very special experience.

Cardiff's top hotels offer great short breaks packages at a variety of times throughout the year. Checkout www.visitcardiff.info for the latest in up-to-date information on short breaks, special offers and events in Cardiff and its Bay area. Also listed is all the accommodation in and around Cardiff, not to mention restaurants, clubs and attractions.
